Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital at Florence will be hosting a Stroke Awareness and Education event as part of their monthly Wellness Club to provide resources, education and support to those affected by, or at risk of stroke. Dr. Kenneth Mook, medical director at Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital will be on hand to discuss the condition, warning signs, as well as therapeutic treatments. Free health screenings and stroke risk assessments will be provided for attendees.
