Boys & Girls Clubs Flag Football Tournament - Cincinnati Event
November 14, 2015 - 30 West 26th Street
As part of its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), Buffalo Wild Wings, through its Team Up for Kids mission, provides Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati (BGC-GC) with ALL STARS grants to add or improve football and cheer programs for members. The grants include funding, team jerseys, a recognition program and access to coach training through nationally recognized coaching organizations.
In 2015 alone, Buffalo Wild Wings will help more than 35,000 kids belong to a team through ALL STARS grants at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. And by 2017, Buffalo Wild Wings will help more than 100,000 kids belong to a team by donating and raising at least $6 million for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
On Saturday, Nov. 14, BGC-GC's Covington location will host a friendly flag football tournament, where 50 football players from four Greater Cincinnati Clubs will go head-to-head on the field. The fun-filled day will also include awards where the Clubs will recognize "Coach of the Year" and "MVP" as well as special presentations and an awards ceremony crowning the day's champion. In addition to the tournament, Buffalo Wild Wings is lending its support to BGC-GC this Thursday, Nov. 5 when the Greater Cincinnati Clubs are hosting fundraiser events at 14 local BWW locations. 10 percent of proceeds will be donated to the Clubs.
