Purple Light Walk And Reds Game - Cincinnati Event

To commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October), Women Helping Women and the YWCA Greater Cincinnati will host the fourth annual Purple Light Walk 5:30 p.m., Friday, September 30 at Fountain Square.  Wearing purple, the color designated for domestic violence awareness, hundreds of men, women and children will carry purple glow sticks on a .75 mile walk which will conclude inside Great American Ball Park.  Through the generous contribution by the Cincinnati Reds, 750 free tickets to Friday evening's Reds game will be distributed to all Purple Light Walk attendees.  Register online for this free event which includes food, music, dancing and a resource fair:
