3711 Clifton Avenue
Cincinnati, OH 45220
Featuring Laura Martin, Lori Siebert, Marcia
Shortt, and Joell Angel-Chumbley, this exhibition reveals each individual’s
artistic achievements in painting, sculpture, collage, and photography,
emphasizing their personal points of view.
The artists have enjoyed long and successful careers as graphic
designers, often in collaboration. Many awards have been garnered for their
team projects, as well as for their individual design work: a portion of the
exhibit will include their sketches and final design for the proposed outdoor
CCAC identification sign. The examples illustrate their close collaboration
while reflecting their unique personal styles and vision.
"Each of us looks at the world through our own lens. We are attracted to different colors, images, and concepts based on our own personality, upbringing, education, time, and place in the world. It is only natural that these things find their way into the work that we create. All four collections in this show are individual and unique: they each present a point of view that is authentic to the artist, incorporating themes, materials, and imagery that speak to each individual."
