(CBTC) Cincinnati Black Theatre Company proudly presents Shakin' the Mess Outta Misery Written by Shay Youngblood Directed by Donald Sherman This coming of age story revolves around Daughter, a young woman who lost her mother when she was a child. Because of her lost she was nurtured, raised, and loved by her Big Mama and 7 other women who came together and taught her, through their life experiences, what to expect as a young lady and learn the ways of being a woman. Each woman has an interesting background, and uses their colorful dialogue to school Daughter with wisdom and love. This is a heartfelt stage play that all must see.
