The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra opens 26th season with Romantic classical favorites, and their rock-n-roll offspring. Pairing two 1970s Eric Carmen hits with the Rachmanioff classics from which the themes were borrowed. Rachmaninoff’s second symphony and piano concerto with Carmen pop hitsâ€"“Never Gonna Fall in Love Again” and “All By Myself.” Award winning pianist, Soyeon Kate Lee performs Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Broadway veteran Aaron Livigne delivers Carmen’s romantic ballads.
