Cincinnati Black Theatre Company (CBTC) and New American Art Gallery II will be presenting the 1st annual celebration of life, art, music, history and culture, the Cincy Sanaa Festival November 10th and 11, 2017. It includes performances, empowerment seminars, and non-stop fun for the entire family. This two-day, city-wide event will bring the richness of the African and African American experience to Cincinnati and surrounding communities in the areas of culture (Market Place/Village, Theatre, Dance, Drumming, Story Telling); arts (pavilion of paintings, visual displays, authors and literature); music (Live R&B, Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, Blues performances) and so much more!
In the spirit of the Kwanzaa principle….Kuumba (koo-OOM-bah) which means Creativity, this festival will engage a broad spectrum of the community by showcasing diversity while delivering authentic multi-cultural experiences.
