It's A Great Time To Be A Dad - Cincinnati Event

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun at the YMCA and learn more about fatherhood, insurance, health relationships, breastfeeding and more! 

It’s a Great Time to be a Dad will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Carl H. Lindner YMCA, 1425 Linn St. in Cincinnati. The event is sponsored by Health Care Access Now (HCAN).

Starting at 2:30 p.m., listen to the All-Star Panel, moderated by James Evans Jr., a member of HCAN’s advisory board.

·         Mike Martin, former wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and community activist

·         Sherman Bradley, pastor, entrepreneur, personal coach and diversity and inclusion trainer

• Lamont Taylor, Manager, Talent Development & Community Engagement, Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency
• Officer Louis Arnold, Cincinnati Police Department
• LaVelle Betts, Community Relations Supervisor, Buckeye Health Plan.

They will talk about how parents can greatly improve the health of their children by following a few simple steps that make a big difference.

After the panel discussion, join players from Cincinnati Public Schools high schools to warm up on the court, and then enjoy a scrimmage game between the teams. Compete against your kids in a dunking contest or just listen to DJ Q Fizzle on the mike. Enter for a chance to win great door prizes. Refreshments will be available.
