Flea Market Fridays Begin with Free Event at Treasure Aisles

Monroe, OH �" The public is invited to set sail for Treasure Aisles Flea Market on Friday, May 4th from 11am to 8pm for the Flea Market Fridays Kickoff Party.  The free event signals the launch of the summer season at Treasure Aisles and the annual return of the outdoor only, open-air flea market on Fridays.

"We're pleased to offer this event this year, free for shoppers and vendors," said Rebekah McLoud of Treasure Aisles. "It's a perfect time to buy that hidden treasure or sell that heirloom you just don’t have room for anymore. We’ll also have activities for kids, food trucks, live music, and give-a-way opportunities."

Bring the Family for Children’s Activities
Kids can play, jump, and exercise in an inflatable pirate bounce house all day. Captain, the Treasure Aisles mascot, will be on hand to greet the wee little pirates and have pictures taken with them.  There will also be free face painting for young lads and lasses.

Local Food Trucks Available for Lunch and Dinner

Some of the area’s best-known food trucks and vendors will be cooking and selling their culinary delights. Kona Ice, The Dapper Doughnut, Lilia’s Outside Café, Wasted Cakes, Adena’s Beefstroll, Ohio Hunger Force One, Mojo, plus others will be serving their delicious wares.  

Live Musical Performance in the Afternoon

The Borderline Something, a three-piece rock and roll band from Nashville, will be performing on the outdoor stage from 1pm to 4pm.

Star Wars and Treasure Bucks Give-a-ways

In honor of “May the 4th Be with You” Day, Treasure Aisles is giving away a Star Wars gift bag filled with awesome Star Wars merchandise and a carload pass to Star Wars Release Party at the Dixie Twin Drive-In. Registration for the Star Wars give away opens at the event. The cash grab machine will also be filled with Treasure Bucks for guest to capture and spend at vendor shops.
