Samuel Adams Hosts BTAD Event W/ Founder Jim Koch - Cincinnati Event

May 07, 2018 - Cincinnati

1205 Elm St
Cincinnati, OH 45202

On Monday, May 7th, Samuel Adams is bringing its popular Brewing the American Dream (BTAD) program to Cincinnati for a Pitch Room Competition and Speed Coaching event. Jim Koch, Sam Adams brewer and founder, is a Cincinnati native and will be attending the event and acting as a judge of the BTAD Pitch Room Competition. Because Cincinnati is home to one of three Sam Adams breweries, the team created Samuel Adams 513, a Cincinnati-inspired lager that celebrates the men and women who proudly brew at this historic brewery, and a site across from the Cincinnati brewery will be the site of the new Sam Adams Tap Room opening later this year. Also, for a limited-time, Sam Adams is donating 25 cents for every pint of 513 sold in the tri-state area to Findlay Market, Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market.

Brewing the American Dream, Samuel Adams’ core philanthropic initiative, connects passionate craft food and beverage entrepreneurs with seasoned industry experts and is designed to provide personalized business advice and capital at a time when small businesses need it most. For 10 years, Sam Adams Brewing the American Dream has broken down barriers to business success and built a community for craft food, beverage and brewing entrepreneurs, giving them access to the sought-after capital, coaching and networking that small businesses find is hard to come by.

The events are hosted in partnership with Accion, the nation’s largest nonprofit small business lending network, and the Cincinnati event is co-hosted with local non-profit food business incubator, Findlay Kitchen.

Sam Adams invites all small business owners in the food, beverage and brewing industries to apply to compete in the Pitch Room Competition and/or to attend the free Speed Coaching event.

Attendees can expect a fun evening of learning, networking and camaraderie over a can of Sam ’76. Attendees will also receive a copy of the book, Quench Your Own Thirst: Business Lessons Learned Over a Beer or Two, by Samuel Adams brewer and founder, Jim Koch.
