Sacred Connections Open Houses of Worship, an interfaith program of the Cincinnati Festival of Faiths, features our region's diverse faith communities welcoming visitors into their unique sacred spaces to worship together, learn more about each other and enjoy fellowship. The events are FREE but require registration as a courtesy to the hosts, at event URL (see above).
Saturday, March 23, 4:30 pm - Zoroastrian Assn. of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana, Host. Zoroastrianism is the world's oldest revealed monotheistic religion, based on the teachings of prophet Zarathustra. Beliefs include: one God; freedom of choice; harmony with and care for nature; afterlife; Frashokereti; and brotherhood of man. Today's worship is a joyful spring celebration of "Navroz," the Zoroastrian New Year; followed by fellowship and refreshments.
