CBTC is once again honored to celebrate the life and works of Ntozake Shange (1948-2018).
For Colored Girls, a legendary Broadway classic choreopoem, stage play and a featured film adaptation. Ntozake Shange’s For Colored Girls has inspired and transformed audiences all over! For Colored Girls can be seen as the Holy Grail of rites of passage plays for an entire generation of Black women. For Colored Girls, resonates its words and captures what is to be a female today through women in motion, muse, colorful, resonating me too experiences and a host of seamless situations. Come celebrate the power of sisterhood through the female voice and bond that unites all women through CBTC’s presentation of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered When The Rainbow Is Enuf!
