National Hot Chicken Day At Fiery Hen - Cincinnati Event

National Hot Chicken Day is on the horizon, and Fiery Hen is already getting all their eggs in a row for the occasion. Saturday, March 30^th is officially National Hot Chicken Day, but Fiery Hen will be celebrating all weekend long.

Spice enthusiasts can feel the burn in their mouths rather than their wallets, and they will receive the 15% owner’s discount (applicable for food only) when they stumble on in to Fiery Hen from Friday, March 29^th to Sunday, March 31^st. Guests can also look a gift horse right in the mouth when their server hands them their complementary dry rub, packaged with all the delicious spiciness to take the heat home. Complementary dry rubs will be given during National Hot Chickenweekend on a “per check” basis.

National Hot Chicken Day is an excuse to celebrate juicy, tender friedchicken, coated with love and cayenne pepper, and Fiery Hen is embracing it in full flavor. Fiery Hen is Downtown Cincinnati’s prime location for hotchicken. Dan Swormstedt, who also owns the beloved Court Street Lobster Bar, opened the eatery with the intention of bringing recipes from grandparents’ tables and libations from their backwoods stills to the forefront of their tastefully Southern menu.

Swormstedt’s uniquely crafted hot chicken recipe features a laborious methodology including massaged hen with cayenne-heavy rub. After it is fried, guests can choose a level of heat, with sauces ranging from mild to the cleverly coined “Bless Your Heart” sauce. The menu has been thoughtfully crafted by Chef Clint Walker, who has worked to bring the best flavors forward with these classic Southern staples.
