Cincinnati, OH 45241

Heritage Village Museum will be kicking off 2019 with the First Person Program Series running from February 7 through March 27. Come to the Village and learn about notable people of the past from the presenters! Each program begins at 7:00 p.m. and includes dessert.

Join Heritage Village Museum as Education Director, Steve Preston, portrays the forgotten founder of Cincinnati, John Filson. The original surveyor of Losantiville, Filson had previously been instrumental in creating the myth and cult of personality surrounding Daniel Boone. John Filson created the first map of Kentucky. His book, The Discovery, Settlement and Present State of Kentucke, promoting settlement of Kentucky lands was crucial to helping populate the land. Join us as Mr. Filson turns his sights to promoting the newly available land located in Southwest Ohio. Mr. Filson will extol the virtues of the land and work hard to gain your commitment to settle what will soon be known as Cincinnati.

$17 members, $20 non-members, and $10 students.
Attend three or more programs, and take advantage of special pricing. Check our website to see the full list of programs.
Advance registration is required; call 513-563-9484 to register.
