Heritage Village Museum will be kicking off 2019 with the First Person Program Series running from February 7 through March 27. Come to the Village and learn about notable people of the past from the presenters! Each program begins at 7:00 p.m. and includes dessert.

One evening in 1854, after everyone else has gone to sleep, Queen Victoria pours through her famous journals. The monarch reminisces about her life so far, and wonders what the future holds for herself, her family, and her country.

Amy Liebert first started in living history and interactive theater in 2003 at the Great Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco, where she has portrayed several literary and historical characters including Queen Victoria. She is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and San Francisco State University from which she holds a Bachelors and Masters of Arts in History, respectively. More locally, she is the Theatrical Director for the first person interpreters at Historic Locust Grove in Louisville, where she works with a talented group of volunteer performers to bring the year 1816 to life for visitors. She also oversees the ladies costuming at Locust Grove and works with volunteers to create layers of historically accurate clothing. When she is not sewing or performing, Amy is teaching history at Jefferson Community & Technical college, or at home with her books, three cats and wonderful fiancé.

$17 members, $20 non-members, and $10 students.
